12-Step Facilitation Therapy

Emerge Recovery TX is a 12-Step immersion program and as such does deploy 12-step tools or work within our program. We will have experts from the community present the 12-step program in a way that inspires and provides an in depth explanation of the history, purpose, and result of engaging in the 12 step process. Our clinical team will actively work with individuals in the 12-step process in order to harmonize the clinical and 12 step perspectives. As part of recovery planning our advanced clinicians and continuing care team will explore recovery support options that are appropriate and appeal to the client.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a structured trauma, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorder treatment program that typically runs 3-hours per day, three to five days per week. IOP allows clients to continue with their normal, day-to-day lives in a way that residential treatment programs do not.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Outpatient Program (OP) is a structured therapeutic group and process group which includes one day of 2-hour programming per week. OP allows clients to continue developing therapeutic skills and processes as they build a life of long-term recovery.

About Author

Leah Malone

Learning to sit with uncomfortable feelings can be painful and disturbing at times. When Leah was able to see her behavior patterns and decided there was enough pain to be disturbed, she became motivated to make changes and accept the work that needed to be done to heal. She needed direction and had no clue how to heal on her own. Through a connection with God, authentic connection with others, honesty, willingness, and humility, Leah is now in recovery from addiction and trauma.
