Grace & Emerge Recovery is thrilled to welcome Stephanie Cruz-Trevino, MA, LPC-S, as Chief Clinical Officer!

Stephanie specializes in treating women who have experienced adverse life events and find themselves using external avoidances to cope with their current circumstances. In doing so, she utilizes EMDR, Ego State Therapies, NLP, and Somatic Release to regulate the body and mind, as well as other clinical modalities to individualize the treatment for each client.  Overall, Stephanie focuses on clinical tools that neurobiologically locate, focus, process, and release experiences and symptoms that are typically out of conscious reach. She encourages treating the entire family system to enhance lasting transformation.

Stephanie brings extensive clinical leadership experience and a strong background in critical healthcare to Grace & Emerge Recovery, including expertise in such areas as compliance, governance, strategic planning, quality improvement, and patient safety. Recognized for her impactful leadership, ethical practice, and ability to navigate challenges, she carries herself with with humble confidence and the skill to engage teams effectively.

"What has transformed my career is living an alcohol-free life and authentically attuning to my own needs with an array of providers that support my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I value integrity by modeling what I teach to clients, trainees, and those close to me It is my life's purpose to expand the ripple of connection and guide those back to their path of meaningful purpose."

Stephanie's responsibilities will include developing clinical policies and programs, managing and training staff, collaborating to enhance outcomes, analyzing data to identify improvements, fostering a collaborative culture, representing the clinical perspective, and advocating for innovations.

Stephanie is truly a one-of-a-kind Austinite, dedicated to delivering exceptional clinical services within her hometown. She is married and a mother of three boys. When she's not busy changing lives, you can find Stephanie enjoying a local body of water, biking, being a year-round baseball mom, or doing date nights with her husband (ones that typically incorporate some sort of self-care!)
